- Glurbs is a game for language learners that blends foreign language learning into a fun and interactive game.
- Players are taken on a journey through different planets and galaxies where they will learn new and exciting units of foreign language at each stage. Their language learning journey is progressive so the further they get through the planets and galaxies the more of the language they will learn.
- They are represented in the journey by their Glurb (their own avatar character) which they can personalise with different costumes, colours and accessories within the app.
- Glurbs is designed to keep players engaged, motivated and learning in a way that feels like play, not studying!
- The Glurbs app is free to download and includes a generous selection of free content your child can enjoy at no cost.
- If your child wants to explore even more, you have the option to unlock full access to the whole app for a small monthly subscription of just £2.99 or an annual subscription for £14.99.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time and will only be billed up to the end of your subscription period at the time of cancelling.
- If you want to change from a monthly to an annual subscription (or vice-versa) you will need to cancel the existing subscription via either the App Store or the Google Play Store.
- You will then be able to resubscribe to the new subscription tier within the app.
- Glurbs has no chatrooms or direct interactions between players or anyone else. This keeps players engaged, learning and having fun in a completely safe and secure environment.
- The app is also completely ad free.
- Unfortunately, once the account has been confirmed as deleted, there is no way of recovering the account.
- Don’t worry, we will ask you a number of times if you’re sure you want to delete your account to make doubly sure this is actually what you want to do. It is very difficult to delete your account by accident.
- If you want to learn a new language, simply create a new account and select the language you would like to learn!
- Your progress is linked to the language you are learning. If you change the language you are learning you will start your learning journey in the new language from the beginning.
